Privacy Policy
We designed the site to work without collecting personal information.
Information we don't collect
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The ZIP codes, ages, vehicles and other choices you enter are not stored on our servers and are never shared with insurers. We do not ask for your name, phone number or driver's license.
Information we do collect
- Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request, for security and troubleshooting. Logs are kept for a limited period and not used to identify you.
- Contact form. If you contact us, we store your name, e-mail and message to respond. We keep messages only as long as needed and never sell them.
- ZIP code searches. A ZIP code you type in a search box is used once to find the matching city page; it is not stored with any identifier.
Analytics and advertising
With your consent, we may use analytics services to understand aggregate site usage and advertising partners such as Google to show ads. These providers may set cookies or use similar technologies and process data such as your IP address and device information under their own privacy policies. You can decline in our cookie banner, and change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. See our Cookie Policy.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
Maps
City pages embed Google Maps. When a map loads, Google receives technical information from your browser under the Google Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to know, access, correct or delete personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We don't sell personal information. To make a request, contact us. We honor browser Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of targeted advertising where required.
Children
The site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. We keep data collection to a minimum so there is little to protect in the first place.

We may update this policy; the version on this page is the one in effect.
